me.
my journey
began as a kid dreaming of doctoring
I thought I knew exactly how my life would play out: grow up, become a doctor, and help a lot of people.
until global issues caught my eye.
Challenges such as global warming prompt consideration of ways to reward society-beneficial actions in individuals for resolution.
i thought software was the answer
Seeing software's unparalleled reach showed me it was the key to making the large scale change I was looking for.
but it ended up being design all along ^^
As designers, we learn to reframe problems - even abstract, overwhelming concepts like prosocial change.
travel
new experiences and perspectives
exploring a new place, conversing with locals, and seeing the daily mundane.
why design?
for me, life has always been about people.
hearing their stories and experiences, growing with them.
design is exactly that: about people.
by people, for people.
paradigms for design life
play
not being afraid to explore
simplify
problems, priorities, decisions
art
intentions
as much as art is about expressing myself, it is also how much of that is coming across to my viewers.
connection and sharing
for me, art has always been something to share. whether it's giving the art to someone, or talking with a friend about a recent piece, art is a point of connection.
